Self-driving cars are made possible through adding very data-intensive sensors such as video, radar, lidar, etc. These sensor have in coming that the data generation is exponentially higher than existing telematic sensors. There is a big challenge in making highly automated driving possible in a scalable manner. The challenges are both in the cost as well on the quick and safe performance of the hardware involved.
